5 Reasons to Craft.......

The Docrafts Creativity Team have put together a blog prompt idea and I thought I'd join in. Blog posting for me has become a little erratic in that I just seem to run out of time but they do say that if you repeat something for 21 days it becomes a habit so here we go..... 5 reasons why I craft..... I'm addicted to being creative... I'm addicted to using my crafty stash to create something unique... I'm addicted to meeting like minded addicted crafty people... I'm addicted to sharing what I learn with others... I'm addicted to the excitment of finding different techniques... Do I need therapy?????? TFL Annette x

New Workshops....

Well where did that time go to.... to be fair I have been to Glasgow, Harrogate, Birmingham, Cumbria, and back again.

We've had classes at The Art Shop, Darlington, a play day with my friend Maria Simms, alongside this we have been supporting DD in her GCSE's and to finish it off this week I've been busy prepping upcoming 'Colouring with Spectrum Noir,' 'Beginners Brayering'and 'A Ranger Day' at Suzicraft.

We have just launched Clarity Stampers in Cumbria. The first class is to be held at Newbiggin Village Hall in Penrith on Fri 27th April. There are only two spaces left if anyone is interested - just leave a comment and I'll be in touch.

I am also starting a 'beginners card making class' @ Collectables, Stockton on Thurs
3 May 6-8pm - just contact the store direct to book your place.

...... now blogger is playing up and won't upload....... can you see my gritted teeth!!!!

I'll try later.....

Take Care

Cricut Collaged Canvas

Hi there
I've been a bit busy working on some 'undercover crafting' this last week - I'll be able to post in a couple of weeks - today we set off for the SCC at Glasgow with Clarity Stamp. It will be good to chat and see some old friends again. We had a busy meeting of the Clarity Stampers North East last Friday. Everyone played nice without too many 'brayer' issues. The next class is May 18th if anyone is interested in joining the group.

Canvas Info: Flower Shoppe Cricut Cartridge, acryllic paints, gesso, Stampers Anonymous stamps, BoBunny Paper
and lots of fun...

Next Cricut Class is Friday 16th March at Sedgefield Parish Hall 10-3pm

Until next time TFL

Just Gorgeous

As promised here is the card I made using the Gorgeous Sitting Pretty Stamp - available from The Art Shop in Darlington. The image is a combo of copic colouring and paper patch.
I'm going to see the Muppet Movie later on today - so may not be able to think logically afterwards so some of the prep for the upcoming Clarity Workshop Day will be done this morning!
looking forward seeing all you Cricuteers on Friday. Sylvia is putting something together for the class so I get to play - WhhhhoooooWeeeee!
See you then
Thanks for dropping by

With Love

Well I have eventually made it back into blogland - words like tweek, hack and bloggering blogger have passed my lips but we are back on track and this is the week of love.... I was hopping around this virtual world and decided to venture into the world of challenges so for this week I have joined in with Nikki @ PolkaDoodles for the digi stamp challenge which you can get here. The image was coloured in with copics and in homage of the polka doodler herself I have used red spotty card stock teamed with black. Why not join in the fun!

Collaged Effects

Hi there
These cards are put together with stamped elements from the Urban stamp collection currently on offer. They were inspired by Beckie Dreyer's Creativity magazine contribution.

For your info there will be a cricut playday @ Sedefield on Friday 18th Nov - bring your machines and paper stash for some cricut adventures.

Just A Few Cards

This 'blog;'lark is turning out a bit like the weather - you don't know what you're going to get from one day to the next. The blog monster finally decided to let me post my blog!

I've been busy with a number of Docraft Demos and have been enjoying demonstrating more locally in Newcastle and Stockton. I'm even home to watch Strictly Come Dancing - never heard of in the past. I have met some lovely crafters, and some with a more excitable temperament! You know who you are. The classes at Darlington have been busy and you have produced some amazing results from virgin cardmakers.
